My Gartley AFL, with Explorations and Performance Improvemens

Gartley AFL was first ported to Amibroker by Daniel Ervi from code originally posted for Wealth-Lab by Mark Conway. But, it suffers severe performance problems when the number of bar in the chart are high. I modified this code to include Start and End bar parameters with a low default value which increases Amibroker performance drastically. Also, I added exploration feature which helps in scanning and backtesting. Download my version of this AFL here.

I've copied Gartley afl code but while exploring in amibroker, message comes "You need to Define filter Variables". Pls help. What is the reason and how can be solved?

Hi lets-learn-earn,

I stopped using this AFL long back, as I find scanning manually is so much better, effective and fun. Will check it over weekend and let you know. Make sure you are using Amibroker ver 5 and above.

u need not explore... just add it at the end of the price AFL,save it and launch it .. it will automatically show possible gartley in every stock :)

Hello Kurichh. Problem not solved. I added Doji-Price.afl as chart, this same like price chart, but no gartley pattern is shown in any stock. Or I'm doing something wrong. Can you pls define step by step.
