About my Broker, IndiaInfoline (5Paisa)

I wrote my review about about my boroker on a forum and thought would be a good post for blog.

I am using IndiaInfoline (5Paisa) for past few months. Initially started with 5/30 paisa brokerage and promised to change to 2/20 paisa after I increased my volume. But they took around 1 month to change the brokerage after I increased my trade volume.

Pros:
  1. Free real time intraday charting software (TTAdv) with some basic technical indicators
  2. Much easier to use than ODIN (I used odin from RK Global)
  3. No limit on number of scrips that can be added in market watch
  4. No limit of number of charts than can be opened at one time
  5. Market depth (top 5 buy/sell bids) for 1 scrip
  6. Last 3 days intraday charts are also available
  7. Customer support is ok, havent faced any issue to feel bad about them
  8. Order execution is very fast
Cons:
  1. TTAdvance software is buggy and some what irritating to use at times
  2. Recently, started taking around 50-100% cpu on my Pentium 2.2 Ghz machine. customer support says will be fixed in next release, dont know when
  3. Volumes dont appear correctly in bar/candlestick charts
  4. Drawing trendlines on charts is very difficult
  5. My RM is totally hopeless, I find it easy to deal with customer support
5paisa also has a web trade interface that I never used.

Update on 20th May 2009:
The CPU problem that I mentioned above is now solved.
